That the employment contract with Gary Norris to be Superintendent of Schools for the term of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010, be approved as presented.	-

Carol Todd moved to table the original motion.  No second. Motion dies.

Caroline Zucker moved to amend the last sentence of Paragraph 10A to delete what is there and to replace it with the Superintendent may request one evaluation mid-year.  Shirley Brown seconded.  Kathy Kleinlein accepted a friendly amendment.

Motion on the floor to approve the employment contract with Dr. Norris to be Superintendent of Schools for the term of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010, be approved as presented with the one change being the last sentence of Paragraph 10A to delete the sentence that is in there and replace it with the Superintendent may request one evaluation mid-year.

School Board Attorney Art Hardy - All evaluations by the Board would be by definition public evaluations.
